Seattle Center is so fun

Here is our little Carmen giving us her best "Cheese" face...has there ever been a cuter little girl?

This weekend we took the kids to The Seattle Center, a place where Peter has a lot of fond memories of going with his dad. I think that our kids are going to love being with their dad there too. There were about 10 inflatable bouncy jumpy thingies set up in the center house, we bought Nate an all access pass and let him have at it. Our original plan was to take the kids to the Science Center, but once we saw these it was too late. I'm looking forward to when Carmen can go too...the stroller is no fun!

Here is Nate driving the kid cars...he tried so hard to pretend that he was a grown-up and very serious, but boy he couldn't hold back the smiles. Here is a serious looking picture, but trust us, he was having a blast!

Adventures

A few Sunday's ago we woke up and realized we had no plans for the day. The day was shaping up nicely weather-wise so we decided to do something out-of-doors for a change.

Nate's really getting in to Dora the Explorer these days, so we build an Explorer's checklist and headed to the beach. On our list: A seashell, a stick, a rock with a red spot on it, a picture of a train, and a picture of a boat. We found all of it except for the train (we missed it by minutes). Here are the pictures from our expedition:

Let the good times roll

Nate and I had a good time yesterday. We took a quick trip to my office where he helped me finish putting together some furniture for a new hire, then on to knock a few pins down at the bowling alley. Here's a great action shot...there's nothing cuter than a 3 year old in bowling shoes.

Carmen got her first pair of shoes!

Carmen is a big girl today! We took a shopping trip to Nordstrom and she picked out her very own shoes...with a little help from mom. They are cute pink and white shoes with a great white flowered embellishment. She is really cruising around the furniture and has taken a step to Peter and Nate. I'm sure it won't be long now...how scary!

Camera phones are fun

Peter got me a new mobile phone the other day. I took the kids to the park and snapped a few.

More pictures coming soon!

We are having an issue with our camera, so as soon as it all gets straightened out, we will post more pics of our gorgeous kids. On an "aw-that's-so-cute" note, I told Nate last night that it was so much fun being his mommy and he replied with "Mommy, it is so fun being your kid!" My heart melt into a big pile of gooey yumminess.
