Oh Darn-

So the other day Nate got out of the car and he tripped or something and he said "Oh Darn!" and Peter asked him why he said it and Nate replied "Because I'm not supposed to say Oh Crap!" Talk about something you'd send in to the Readers Digest...

Here are Peter and Nate playing hockey in front of the big screen. It's a treat when he gets to do it, but that doesn't stop him from asking Pete about a million times a day.

More fun at the beach

The beach is our fall-back plan. Pretty much every Sunday we wake up, look at each other and say "What do you want to do today?". After a fruitless hour or so we pack up the kids, hop in the car, and head out. As long as the weather is nice the beach is 3 hours of guaranteed fun.

Today we went to Golden Gardens park in Seattle and snapped these pictures.

She walks!!!

Yesterday it was five steps, the day before it was three, today she hit 11 steps by noon. I think she is officially a walker! This is all very exciting! Her favorite things to walk to are her toy Elmo, her brother, and mom and dad. She's even doing it as part of picking up toys, like she's done it forever! Yeah, Carmen! We're so proud of you!

So this is obviously the cutest picture ever. The kids were watching Dora the Explorer under a sleeping bag. Cute, cute, cute!!!

Snow is cool!

Snow is awesome! It snowed here last week and we obviously don't get much (check out Nate's boots!). Nate wanted to spend some time playing basketball and hockey, so we did and had a great time...even though by the looks of the second picture you'd never know it.

Carmen thinks that oral hygiene is awesome! She brushes and drools and brushes and drools! I can't wait to see her floss!
