Nate's super sweet bowling party

We all know that the ONLY place to have the perfect four-year-old birthday party is the local bowling alley...Nate has been planning this party all year long and was so proud of his green and purple ice cream cake with the bowling pins on it.













The cuties: Wyatt amd Carmen enjoy all the pizza they can handle with a lemonade chaser. Although Wyatt and Nate are closer friends, Carmen loves Wyatt like a brother and can't wait to go to his house.









Here is Nate and his good friend Ethan. Ethan was a super bowler and was so excited to be there with Nate. Nate was over the moon that Ethan was there too.










As if real bowling weren't enough, thse kids are trying to bowl with the pins that came on the cake! In the background is a pregnant Suzy holding our friend Garret. Garret thought it was great fun to have the run of the bowling alley and was so cute in his bowling shoes!

We took our first family vacation in quite a while and we couldn't have picked a better time or place. Maui was incredible of course, but while we were there Western Washington experienced one of the worst storms ever. Power was out at our house for 7 days, but we didn't care, we were having too much fun at the beach!

The flight to Maui was delayed but the kids hung in there.
