All about Carm
Carmen is blossoming into a very cute, very precocious young lady. She's definately hit age two!
Carmen has been waking up early, and she greets me in the shower each morning. She pulls out her sitting stool from underneath the counter, positions it, and quietly watches me as I shave. As I turn the water off and step out of the shower she hands me my towel, asking me the same question each time: "Want a towel, daddy?" Afterwards she helps me pick out a tie and sits on the bathroom counter while I finish getting ready for work. She's very curious, of course, so we try to learn something as well. Last week, for example, we learned about the difference between cologne and perfume. I sprayed a bit of Christy's Clinique on her wrists and taught her to rub them together and then to rub her her neck. She was very grown-up.
I took both kids to a great playground today and was so impressed by the way she keeps up with Nate. She can't run as fast as him, but she is an excellent climber and she's not afraid of any of the big toys (even though there are a few I wish she'd be more cautious around!). I took these pictures with my phone.
